The club president, Joaquim Mina, also coach of u13 team, highlights the value of including sport in the routine of young people. “In these categories, the most important thing to prioritize is the human being, educate these children about the values of the sport so they can take them to school, home or wherever they are. They learn to live together as a team, which is essential in society”.
The training is open to any young athletes that are taken by their paretns to the Band-Sarries, where they had the opportunity to et introduced to the sport that is returning to the Olympic program in Rio 2016 Games. The club has a tradition form and reveal players in kids clinics. The field is located in Dr. Dante Pazzanese Street, 421, Ibirapuera, close to the old Detran building. “On the base categories is where the athlete assimilates the first notions of running, passing, positioning on the field and kicking. This learning motivates the children that come to Band-Sarries. It’s great to see them get to the club, develop, move between categories and move on”, praises the president of Band-Sarries.
