The paulista classic of next Saturday against Pasteur, at 03h30 pm in PET Tatuapé will define the future of Band-Sarries in Brazilian Championship. The red and Black Jersey need a victory and hope for a defeat from the Armstrong Dragons (RN), for the all ready downgraded Rio Branco, to keep the spot in the first division without the recap against the winner of Taça Tupi. Pasteur is the sixth place, Armstrong the seventh and Band-Sarries the eigth.
Players and coaches from Band-Sarries have the conscience that their situation, caused by the natural process of rebuilt that open space to new athletes. “We expect a good victory and we know that it will be hard to escape from the recap in November, but it is important that us closes that phase with a winning” recognize Bad-Sarries CEO Antonio Martoni.
In the last round (27/9), the team show evolution and had opportunities to win the leader of the tournament São José. In spite the negative result, Band-Sarries had a consistent performance. At the first period, Band-Sarries end up winning by 11 to 7. At the second time of the game, after São José turn the table, the team was able to pressure seeking victory, but in the last five minutes São José’s team ware able to score more points and wins by 29 to 18.
