Band-Sarries wins Niterói for Super 10
Band-Sarries returned to win in Super 10. Playing in Arena Paulista (PET) in Tatuapé – São Paulo last Saturday (13), the team showed an aggressuve rugby and got nine tries in a 50-21 victory over Niterói Rugby from Rio de Janeiro.
“With more ball possession than the opponent, strong in the rucks and lineouts and great performance of his backs Band-Sarries made a good game start and won important points in the competition,” CEO Antonio Martoni analyzed.
Highlights of the team, once again, were the youngest athletes, among them, JP with a try and Rodrigo with two. The good performance of the duo Perica and Facundo, scrumhalf and number 10, respectively, was also key to the distribution of the game and good attacks.
Band-Sarries now have a break of fifteen days to the next round, the penultimate stage of the classification of the Super 10 Championship, when Band-Sarries returns to PET in Tatuapé to face the São José in September 27th.
