Band-Sarries knows what mistakes to fix to win the next games of Super 10
Band-Sarries and Spac face each other last Saturday (6) for the Super 10 on Spac’s field. Lasting 15 minutes to finish the game the home team was winning by 19 to 17. But in the defensive fails of Band-Sarries, Spac scored and finished the match winning by 31 to 22. With a try and 7 points respectively, Laurent and Facundo were the best players of Band-Sarries. Another two tries were scored by Daniel and Marton.
The moments that Band-Sarries were able to balance the mach leaves a good perspective for the next rounds, which the main goal is maintain in the principal tournament of the country, the Super 10. Even with the defeat by 31 to 22, the coach and the players leave the Field with the feel that it could be better.
“The team has lack of concentration after scoring tries. When we are after the results, on Field, the opponent doesn’t face difficulties to react”. The fitness of the players also hurt sometimes, is always harder to start loosing and try to run to score. We have to win over Pasteur and Nitéroi, it is the only way”, analyses the head coach Ramiro Mina.
With the changing on Super 10 for Super 8 in 2015, the two last places this year will fall automaticaly to the second Brazilian tournament, the “Taça Tupi” and the eighth spot have to play with their champion to define the last competitor in Super 8 the next year. Today, the leaders of each Taça Tupi groups are Jacareí (SP) and Serra (RS), respectively. Band-Sarries is back on the Field on next Saturday (13) to face the last of the Super 10 chart, Niterói, in São Paulo.
