The Seven-a-side team of SP Saracens Bandeirantes went to Florianópolis, in the state of Santa Catarina, last weekend and came back with its objective: one of the spots for the 2015 Men Super Sevens, two legs tournament with the 12 best teams in Brazil and 4 more invited teams in each leg.
The team had an excellent weekend, winning all games until the final and ended the tournament being the top scorer and best defense. The final game was 19 x 5 to Pasteur Athletic Club.
Both finalists plus the third place, Campo Grande, got their spots on the first edition ever of the National Tournament Super Sevens, which starts next weekend (February 28th and March 1st) in the city of Ivoti, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The second and final leg will be held in São Paulo from March 14th to 15th.
