The Bandeirantes Rugby Club was founded in 1983 by Brazilian rugbiers with the impetus to strengthening the sport within the country and disseminate the values ​​of Rugby in tours and trips abroad. Over the past 30 years, competed in national elite tournaments, being four times the Brazilian Main League champions and five times state (Paulista A) champions.

In 2014, started-up a new phase with the unprecedented partnership with Saracens, English Premiership Rugby team. The São Paulo Saracens Bandeirantes (popularly known as Band-Sarries) is a pioneering project that strengthens the structure of a reference team in Brazil and designs a new scenario for Brazilian Rugby.
