Band Arena renovation under way
The Band Arena, as it is called the home of Sao Paulo Saracens Bandeirantes, is being prepared for 2014 season. Work began in January and will cover the reform of the pitch and its surroundings structures.
In addition to the field recovery, the measures of the field will be expanded with new watering system, new stands will improve the supporters experience and new club office and bar facilities are also on the work plans for the traditional third half.
The Band Arena is not used for official senior XV games since 2012, which last season used the field of the Paulista Federation of Rugby (FPR) for home matches.
“The Band Arena renewal will allow a great return of Sao Paulo Saracens Bandeirantes to your home. Field will also be used for games of all Band-Sarries categories in grand events for our fans.” says Antonio Martoni Neto, club CEO.
