In the eve of the women’s main tournament, the Brasil 7′s, Bandetes preparing themselves to dispute the XXII Lions, traditional rugby championship organize by SPAC. On this weekend it will be 7 feminine squads, as everybody face each other and the champion will be define by points.
The coach of the Band-Sarries feminine squad says about this important championship “we want to use this tournament to develop our confidence for Brasil 7s. A tournament win will be a perfect way for us to go into our next tournament with a positive, excited mindset”. Besides the preparation for the nationals, the Bandetes also have goals this weekend “The first goal is to win, we have a great chance to be the champion of this tournament. But my other expectations are to develop our combinations and strengthen our structure ahead of Brasil 7s. This is a perfect dress rehearsal for us, at a nice ground against some good teams” analyze Josh.
