Woman’s squad from Band-Sarries is champion of the third round of the Paulista 7s and wins a spot on BR Sevens
Bandetes disputed the third round of the Paulista Championship and conquered the best result of the season on this weekend (30 e 31). Without taking a single try by their opponents, the woman’s squad of Band-Sarries leaves undefeated of the tournament and became champions of that round.
On the first phase, Bandetes win by 34 to 0 of Jacareí, 39 to 0 of USP e 19 to 0 of traditional team of São José. At the semi-final, the team stays consistent, winning of Rio Branco’s squad by 24 to 0. On the final, new gain by Bandetes that won of Spac, head of the tournament, by 27 to 0. The campaign of Band-Sarries girls was practically perfect at Sesc Interlagos and guarantees the spot to BR Sevens, the most important competition of the season, as the second Best on the overall classification, on the three rounds of Paulista 7s.
Super 10 – In a very disputed and balanced game, Band-Sarries as not able to make points and take a few counter-attacks, ended defeated by the vice-leader of Super 10, Curitiba, that show a smart game at the field and score 22 to 0.
Band-Sarries was strong at the simple game, had possession of the ball but was not able to transform your abilities in points. The debut of Facundo and Luccas were complimented by the head coach Ramiro that stays positive even with the lost and the difficult of the squad. Now Band-Sarries is seeking evolution step by step, with a proper planning. Next Saturday (6) the game will be against SPAC, current Brazilian Champions, at 3 pm, in Santo Amaro.
