The presence of the English coach Ian Vass and visits from schools and other teams put movement the club
Band-Sarries it’s living a agitated week that it’s important to the evolution of rugby. The British Ian Vass, a important player in Europe scenario for the last years, former coach from ex- East Midlands and coach of Saracens Academy, was receive in the headquarters of the club, by their president Joaquim Mina and by their CEO Antonio Martoni.
The visit is part of the partnership made in 2013 with Saracens, one of the main clubs in Europe. Ian Vass activities in the paulista club start in the beginning of this week with a no club workshop, including three days of clinic n the Band-Sarries Field, dedicated to the woman’s and men’s categories. The English coach are introducing a preparatory course to all coaches about planning and method.
This is a promising week for Band-Sarries that starts with the victory over Pasteur by 67 to 25 and will end with Saturday (11) full of activities. The club will receive about 40 students of the fifth year from Jardim Iguatemi state school and two more male squads, Direito USP Rugby and Tatuapé Rugby.
All the visitors have activities with Ian Vass. Between 10 and 11h30 am, the English coach will dedicated your attention to the base categories, from M8 to M15. In the afternoon the meeting will be with the adults, starting at 2h pm.
